About the Opportunity

We are on the search for a Digital Marketing Executive to join the Marketing Department at our Southport office. In the role as Digital Marketing Executive you will support the Marketing team, taking on a variety of tasks while being exposed to many different marketing disciplines.

We’re specifically looking for someone who will manage our Lead Gen efforts, the ideal candidate will have an interest in digital marketing and ideally experience in this area. Within the role you will also assist with tasks that fall within PR, Social and Content production, and more general Marketing.

The Marketing Department form a vital function within the business, driving interest in our products and initiatives. You’ll become part of an experienced Marketing Department, with a wide variety of skills and operate alongside our Design Team. You’ll work closely with other departments within the business, ensuring we continue to meet and exceed the needs of the business.

You will report directly into a Marketing Manager within the team who will give you direction, manage your workload and ensure your ongoing development. This is fantastic role for someone looking to progress their career in Marketing, who has a diverse skill set and the ability to take on any challenge.

Key Responsibilities

  • Lead on delivery of lead generation campaigns. Managing campaigns across multiple digital platforms and ensuring we create new business opportunities.
  • Support on PR activity, helping to manage our relationships with agencies and deliver media coverage.
  • Social Media assistance, working alongside the team to craft and create social media updates on behalf of the business.
  • Content creation, develop your skills in creating and delivering marketing content for the team.
  • General support for the Marketing Department and wider business, taking on any challenge within an ever-evolving marketing mix.
  • Work collaboratively with the Marketing Analyst to define, track and report on key performance metrics.
  • Brief in the Design Department with specific design, branding and merchandising tasks.
  • Work closely with our Lead Gen, PR and Social agencies, to deliver the external marketing programme on behalf of the business.
  • Present your work and research to the Marketing Team and the wider business, as required.
  • Be proactive in making recommendations for new initiatives based on data-driven insight.
  • Work within the hierarchical structure of the marketing team to ensure you’re achieving the correct permissions and approvals for all marketing materials.
  • Ensure you are upholding the highest professional standards in the delivery of your role and responsibilities.
  • Ensure you abide by all compliance and data protection best practices, within a financial services business.  

What We're Looking For

  • A bachelor’s degree relevant to Marketing or similar qualifications.
  • Relevant experience in Digital Marketing and similar disciplines.
  • An understanding of marketing principles across digital and non-digital channels.
  • Experience of B2B Marketing advantageous.
  • Knowledge of Financial Services marketing advantageous.
  • Written and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong analytical and reporting skills.
  • An energetic and enthusiastic individual, capable of taking on any challenge.

Office location

Please be aware that this role is fully based at our Southport Office and is 37.5 hours per week and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas of Southport, Ormskirk and Liverpool. Hybrid or remote working is not offered.
