Receptionist Job Description

We have a wonderful opportunity available to join our team!

The successful candidate will receive a full training induction and have a mentor to support them.

The role will be varied and involve a range of administration tasks, including,

  • Responsibility for the reception area while complying with office procedures
  • Ensuring the meeting rooms and general areas are kept tidy & presentable
  • General housekeeping throughout the building
  • General document administration as required, including opening, sorting and distributing posts, scanning, saving, printing, photocopying, filing and emailing documents
  • Sign for deliveries and ensure all mail and packages are distributed accordingly.
  • Providing refreshments to the Senior Management Team and visitors
  • Monitoring stock levels for stationery and ordering supplies when required
  • Representing the business with a positive attitude and professional appearance
  • Answering, screening and forwarding phone calls
  • Meeting & greeting all visitors to our Head Office
  • Follow security procedures, such as monitoring the logbook and issuing visitor badges.
  • Promote a friendly and welcoming atmosphere to all
  • Other ad hoc office duties to assist the Business Support & Operations Team

Person Specification

  • Excellent telephone manners with a friendly and welcoming approach
  • Must be patient and courteous
  • Possess excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills
  • To have the greatest level of honesty & integrity
  • Organisational skills and ability to prioritise workloads
  • Willingness to be flexible and part of a team
  • Ability to work unsupervised and to perform accurately under pressure
  • Professionalism and good attention to detail
  • Well presented

Pay: £23,000.00-£23,400.00 per year
