About the Opportunity

Are you a social media enthusiast with a flair for creativity and a passion for connecting with audiences online? We’re looking for a dynamic, and creative Social Media Assistant to join our team and help us tell our brand story across multiple platforms! If you’re already building your social presence and are bursting with fresh ideas, this could be the perfect opportunity for you!

Key Responsibilities

  • Plan, create, and deliver engaging content across various social platforms.
  • Collaborate closely with the wider marketing team to ensure key narratives and priorities are met.
  • Work with the Marketing Manager, external agencies, compliance, and research teams to shape our content strategy.
  • Stay on top of the latest social media trends and tech innovations to recommend fresh, cutting-edge ideas.
  • Grow with the business, taking on more responsibility as we expand!

What We're Looking For

  • 1-2 years of experience in a social media or content creation role within a business.
  • Experience managing social media accounts, you’re on our radar!
  • A degree in marketing or a recognised qualification in media, production, or digital is preferred.
  • Essential: Previous hands-on experience in social media or content creation.
  • B2B marketing experience? That’s a bonus, but not required!
  • Strong understanding of digital marketing principles and trends.
  • Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • A collaborative team player with great communication skills and a passion for creative thinking!

Office location

Please be aware that this role is fully based at our Southport Office and is 37.5 hours per week and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas of Southport, Ormskirk and Liverpool. Hybrid or remote working is not offered.
