About You

We have an exciting opportunity for a Graphic Designer to join our organisation.

You will be a mid-weight designer with 3-4 years’ experience, who’s used to working within a collaborative creative team within a fast-paced marketing department or agency environment. You will possess a blend of traditional print and design experience along with a strong working knowledge of digital media.

About The Role

We are looking for a highly creative and versatile mid-weight graphic designer based at our Head Office location in Southport, in the North-West of England. Reporting to the Design Manager, you will work closely with creative team members and also as part of the wider Marketing Department to craft captivating content across a variety of channels. You will have the opportunity for personal development as we strive for professional growth within our dynamic and expanding organisation.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conceptualising and creating branded materials, with a good understanding of both traditional print specifications and digital applications
  • Developing visual concepts for projects across the business including websites, email and social media
  • Day-to-day management of external suppliers and vendors, working to agreed budgets and timescales
  • Collaborating across the wider Marketing Department to support events management
  • Making recommendations for best practice for any design-related Marketing activity and putting forward new ideas
  • Assisting with the development of A/V projects
  • Providing Marketing administration support as required

What We Expect From You

  • Bachelor’s degree in Graphic Design or a related field
  • Expert proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite applications
  • Demonstrable experience with technical design specifications for print media
  • A well-developed and creative portfolio showcasing a range of design projects and a deep understanding of design principles
  • Knowledge of current trends in design and marketing
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to sell new ideas to colleagues and senior stakeholders
  • Strong time management skills, with the ability to  juggle several projects at once
  • A flexible approach and adaptability to working in a fast-paced, dynamic environment

Salary Band

£25,000 to £32,000

Office Location

Please be aware that this role is fully based at our Southport Office, based on 37.5 hours per week and is easily commutable from the surrounding areas of Southport, Ormskirk and Liverpool. Hybrid or remote working is not currently offered.
